Barranco Fundo… The Cottage

• It is a well-kept secret, but Barranco Fundo has a lovely cottage that is aivailable for rent from october – end of april.
• Until 7 years ago this was a long-abandoned farmhouse, but it has now been transformed into a comfortable and super cozy house for 4 people.
• You will enjoy the tranquility and the vastness of the grounds, the beautiful skies at sunset, the central location in the Algarve (halfway between Faro and Sagres), and the good accessibility of villages, shops and the beach.
• Those who love a green environment with many sunny days and mild temperatures should come to the Algarve during the winter months. A wonderful time to stroll on deserted beaches, Even during the winter months, in Algarve you can often live outside most of the day.
• The Cottage has a living room with a (wood) stove, a well-equipped open kitchen with a fridge, hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster and the necessary kitchen utensils. There is table and kitchenware  for 4 people. There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. There is also a separate toilet in the hall.
• You have hot water via the solar boiler (supplemented with electricity if there is no sun).
• The house can easily be heated with the wood stove, possibly supplemented with air conditioning units that also provide warm air.
• There is a spacious terrace with dining table, chairs, sunbeds and a sun awning.
• You have the entire site at your disposal and can use the swimming pool and surrounding terrace (although it is not heated in winter). You can park in the garage. We may stay in the Villa ourselves, but the two houses are completely separated from each other and offer complete privacy.
• The Cottage can be rented from October to the end of april for a minimum of 2 weeks (or longer). We provide a double set of bed, bath and kitchen linen that can be washed on site. A cleaning by the cleaning team is possible on request.
• Bed, bath and kitchen linen, water, electricity, wifi, garden and pool maintenance are included in the price.
• The gardener comes on Friday morning and tuesday afternoons, pool maintenance is done on saturday early mornings. Both people have the code of the gate, you do not have to take this into account.
